Job summary

Coastal Elite Pro in Ohio is seeking a Delivery Driver to safely transport and deliver products to customers, unload goods per specifications, and maintain food safety and sanitary standards.

Responsibilities include unloading, completing logs and invoices, adhering to DOT regulations, and building strong customer relationships on diverse routes and weather conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of tractor-trailer driving experience or completion of a driving school.
• Valid Class A CDL license and knowledge of DOT regulations.
• Must read, speak, and understand English sufficiently.

Job description

Role:

Delivery Driver responsible for safely transporting and delivering products to customers, unloading goods according to specifications, and maintaining food safety and sanitary standards.

Responsibilities:

Unload products manually or with equipment, complete accurate paperwork including logs and invoices, adhere to food safety protocols, develop good customer relationships, and perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED, with at least 1 year of tractor trailer driving experience or completion of a driving school. Valid Class A CDL license and knowledge of DOT regulations are required.

Skills & Abilities:

Ability to operate tractor-trailers safely across various terrains and weather, communicate effectively with customers, solve problems, handle hazardous and temperature-sensitive goods, and perform basic math. Must be able to read, speak, and understand English sufficiently.

Physical & Work Environment:

Regularly lift up to 50 pounds, push/pull up to 350 pounds, climb in/out of vehicles, and work in various weather conditions, sometimes in confined spaces or near moving machinery. Overtime, weekend, and holiday work are common.
