Job summary

Shoehaul Inc. (Fed Ex Ground) seeks reliable Delivery Drivers to deliver packages safely and on time. You will operate a box truck, load and unload, and provide courteous customer service during each delivery.

Qualified candidates are 21+, have a clean driving record, and can pass background and drug screening. Pay starts at $220/day and rises to $240/day with FedEx driving experience, with paid training and PTO included.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Able to clear pre-employment background and drug screening.
• Experience with courier services is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift packages up to 150 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company-delivered vehicle to deliver packages.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of products, maintaining their condition.
• Load and unload packages.
• Plan and follow the most efficient route for timely deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Verify the accuracy of packages and ensure proper documentation for each delivery.
• Provide exceptional customer service by being polite and professional during deliveries.
• Collaborate with dispatch to optimize delivery schedules and communicate delays.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the delivery vehicle.
