Job summary

AutoZone is seeking a Delivery Driver to join our store team in Dubuque, IA. You’ll use company-provided vehicles to deliver parts to commercial customers and DIY shoppers, while delivering exceptional, safety-driven service. No CDL is required, and a clear path for growth exists within an essential retail business.

Key duties include safe driving, accurate loading/unloading, and timely deliveries, with a flexible full-time schedule including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime when needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license and safety compliance.
• Basic automotive knowledge.
• Ability to lift, load and deliver merchandise.
• Full-time schedule including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver WOW! customer service by engaging with commercial customers and DIY shoppers, providing clear and professional automotive advice and offering installation services.
• Work closely with store personnel and commercial accounts, ensuring smooth team collaboration and strong customer relationships.
• Maintain efficient delivery operations, meeting time and accuracy goals while following company policies.
• Drive company-provided vehicles, ensuring safe and timely deliveries of automotive parts to commercial customers. Load and unload parts accurately per route schedules.
• Collect returns, cores, and parts from nearby stores or outside vendors.
• Adhere to PPE and fleet safety policies to maintain a safe driving and working environment.
• Process customer payments securely and in accordance with company policies.
• Stay updated on promotions and automotive products through AutoZone systems. Maintain delivery vehicles and report any issues promptly.
