Job summary

AutoZone is hiring a delivery driver in New Jersey to provide exceptional customer service and reliable parts delivery. You will operate company-provided vehicles, handle parts loading/unloading, and ensure timely deliveries to commercial accounts and DIY customers.

The role requires basic automotive knowledge, a valid driver’s license, and a flexible full-time schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license and safety compliance.
• Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
• Ability to lift, load and deliver merchandise.
• Flexible full-time schedule including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Deliver WOW! customer service by engaging with commercial customers and DIY shoppers, providing clear automotive advice and offering installation services.
• Drive company-provided vehicles and ensure safe, timely deliveries to commercial customers.
• Load and unload parts per route schedules and maintain accurate delivery records.
• Collect returns, cores, and parts from nearby stores or outside vendors.
• Adhere to PPE guidelines and fleet safety policies at all times.
• Process customer payments securely and in line with company policies.
• Maintain knowledge of promotions and products through AutoZone systems.
