Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience operating delivery vehicles or commercial trucks.
• Knowledge of vehicle operation, maintenance and safety procedures.
• Able to lift, carry, and handle packages weighing up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Proficient with GPS navigation systems and route planning.
• Customer service skills with professional interactions.

Responsibilities

• Operate a delivery vehicle safely and efficiently while following traffic laws and company protocols.
• Plan and execute optimal delivery routes to maximize efficiency and minimize delivery times.
• Load, unload, and transport packages to customer locations.
• Obtain customer signatures and handle payment transactions as required.
• Maintain delivery records and documentation, including confirmations and feedback.
• Perform basic vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues.
• Communicate professionally with customers and address inquiries.
• Meet daily and weekly delivery targets while maintaining service quality.
• Handle packages with care to prevent damage.
• Follow company policies for safety and customer service.
