Carroll Express Inc. in Mokena, IL is hiring FedEx Delivery drivers for regular full-time and part-time roles. Local residential and business deliveries with routes that may require larger vehicles. Training provided and immediate start available.

Requirements include 21+, valid CDL-lite or driver’s license, clean driving record, DOT medical, and ability to lift up to 75 lbs (150 lbs with hand truck). Competitive schedule with bonuses and paid vacation after six months.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Have a minimum of 1 year of commercial driving experience within last three years.
• Pass a drug test (includes marijuana) with continued random drug screens throughout employment.
• Pass a DOT physical.
• Be able to lift/carry up to 75 lbs and up to 150 lbs with a hand truck.
• Pass FedEx Ground criminal background check.
• Have reliable transportation to and from work.
• Be on time and ready to work each work day.
• Be able to climb stairs and work in all weather.
• Prior FedEx or Amazon delivery experience with larger vehicles is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Your vehicle must be operated safely at all times.
• Delivery and pickup of packages to businesses and residences; around 150 stops a day.
• Perform daily inspection of vehicle including checking fluid levels.
• Load vehicle for deliveries and organize daily loads.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain communication with manager.
• Accurately operate scanner and track delivery process.
• Accurate disposition of package delivery and pickups.
• Consistently deliver entire route in a timely manner.
• Shifts available all 7 days; Full or Part time.
• 5 days paid vacation after 6 months and another 5 days after 1 year.
• Performance bonuses.
