Job summary

The Aaron's Company, Inc. in Allentown, PA is hiring a Delivery Driver. This store-based role involves driving, installing, moving, and demonstrating merchandise to customers while supporting daily operations.

The pay range is $15.75 to $16.50 per hour, with benefits such as paid time off, health insurance, 401(k), and more. This position requires valid driver's license, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and willingness to work on a varied schedule.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age for positions within the United States.
• Requires a valid state driver’s license and compliance with the Company’s Driver Qualification Policy, including a satisfactory motor vehicle record (MVR).
• Must be able to obtain DOT certification, if required for the position’s location.
• Ability to work a schedule with hours varying from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. independently and up to 300 lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another associate.
• Ability to work in all outdoor weather conditions, including rain and summer heat.

Responsibilities

• Stage, load, and appropriately secure products, and safely operate the company vehicle.
• Unload, install, and demonstrate merchandise.
• Assist with cleaning and organizing merchandise within the store.
• Maintain accurate daily route sheets and weekly maintenance sheets.
