Job summary

Federal Express Corporation is seeking a Driver/Operator for FedEx service in New Jersey to deliver and pickup packages with courtesy and efficiency. You must be licensed for the vehicle type and comply with safety regulations while maintaining professional customer interactions.

The starting wage is $23.16 per hour, with a Monday through Friday schedule roughly 07:00–16:00. Minimum education includes a high school diploma or GED and the ability to read and speak English.

Qualifications

• Must hold a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be licensed for the vehicle type assigned.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and maneuver heavier packages with equipment or assistance.
• Good verbal and written communication; neat appearance for customer contact.
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand signs and directions per FMCSA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and pick up packages in a courteous and efficient manner.
• Check shipments for conformance to FedEx service standards and provide related customer service.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.
