Job summary

FedEx is seeking a driver/operator to deliver and pick up packages in a customer-facing role. You will ensure shipments meet FedEx service standards and perform related customer service tasks as needed. The job requires a valid license for the vehicle type and adherence to safety regulations.

Applicants must be at least 21, able to read and speak English, and able to lift 50 lbs with or without assistance. A comprehensive benefits package is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be licensed for type of vehicle assigned.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and handle heavier items with assistance or equipment.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently for traffic signs and official inquiries.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and pick up packages with courteous, efficient service.
• Check shipments for conformance to FedEx service standards.
• Provide related customer service and perform other duties as assigned.
