Job summary

Dorf Ketal Americas | North America seeks an entry-level Driver to operate medium-to-heavy-duty trucks in Midland, TX area, delivering oilfield and industrial chemicals while following DK safety and DOT rules. The role reports to a Driver Manager or Site Manager and requires Hazmat/tanker endorsements and a clean driving record.

You will perform daily trips, document deliveries, operate pumps and valves, and maintain paperwork and vehicle readiness.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A/B with Hazmat and tanker endorsements.
• Forklift certified.
• Pipeline certification.
• Must have clean driving record.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations.
• Basic mechanical skills.
• Physically capable of loading/unloading goods up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to load, unload and operate a forklift & pumping equipment.
• Experience with Acid and Hazardous Material handling.

Responsibilities

• On-time daily trips to specified locations.
• Read sight glass level indicators and record the delivered quantities.
• Operate pumps with hoses, risers, and valves.
• Interact with management and customers.
• Clear documentation of all paperwork, including Field Delivery Tickets and TDG Manifests.
• Complete inspection reports (pre-job hazard assessment forms, per-trip inspections logs, and en-route logbooks).
• Generate BOL to match daily load and ensure placarding matches.
• Pipeline certification.
• Ensure routine maintenance of pumps and inspection of hoses.
• Routine vehicle maintenance and housekeeping.
• Operate and troubleshoot pump and hydraulic systems.
• Commitment to safety, environmental and industrial hygiene practices.
• Outstanding safety performance and consistent environmental compliance.
• Occasional weekend work and overtime may be required.
• Support RCMS and ISO 9001 initiatives as instructed.

SUMMARY: Operates medium-to-heavy-duty trucks for transportation, safe handling, and delivery of oilfield & industrial chemicals, adhering to all DOT and company safety regulations. Drivers are dispatched out of a DK Energy Services location and will be making day trip deliveries within the assigned District. This is an entry-level role, working under close supervision and reporting to either a Driver Manager or Site Manager. Clean driving record and CDL with Hazmat and tanker endorsements required.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support and assist in implementing and maintaining the RCMS program. Identify training needs of personnel. Promote awareness of the RCMS guiding principles and Dorf Ketal's HSSE policy, objectives and goals in addition to how they can contribute to them.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience/Skills:

Work Conditions: This position requires working in a standard driving environment: traffic, long periods of sitting, getting in and out of high-profile truck. Employees will need to be able to lift 50 lbs., climb stairs with no problem, and work in extreme weather conditions. Employees will need to communicate effectively with peers and managers via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
