Job summary

FedEx Corporation is seeking a driver/operator to deliver and pick up packages with courteous, efficient service. You will check shipments for conformance to FedEx service standards and perform related customer service duties. Typical schedule is Monday to Friday, 08:50 AM to 6:30 PM. Applicants must be at least 21, pass medical exams, and meet FMCSA requirements.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. with equipment/assistance.
• Good human relations and verbal communication skills.
• Neat appearance due to customer contact.
• FMCSA section 391 qualifications.
• Medical exam as per FMCSA/FAA.
• Non-covered safety-sensitive position.
• Medical exam required.
• Must work with alertness and in a safe manner.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently for traffic safety requests.

Responsibilities

• Driver / operator of company vehicles delivering and picking up packages.
• Checks shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service and provides related customer service functions.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
