FedEx Ground is hiring a Delivery Driver in Hampton, VA to support our fixed-route operations. You will begin at the FedEx Terminal, pick up a vehicle, and deliver packages along defined routes.

The role emphasizes safety, scanning, loading, and maintaining delivery logs, while building positive customer relationships. Candidates should have a valid US work status and preferred FedEx driving experience.

Qualifications

• Must be legally eligible to work in the US.
• FedEx Ground driver experience is preferred.
• 1 year of verifiable driving experience in the last 3 years or 3 years in the last 10 years.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Must pass a Drug Test and a DOT Medical/Physical Exam.
• Must be willing to submit to a background check.
• Have dependable transportation to and from the job location.
• Must be able to safely operate a delivery van of GVWR 26,000 lbs or less.
• Be able to interact in a positive and professional manner with customers and teammates.

Responsabilités

• Arrive at the FedEx Terminal to pick up the vehicle and deliver packages on Fixed Routes.
• Scanning and Loading Packages.
• Load, unload, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle safely.
• Maintains delivery logs and records.
• Establishes and maintains outstanding relations with customers.
• Physically able to handle packages up to 150 lbs.
