Job summary

AutoZone’s Delivery Driver role focuses on safe driving and delivering automotive parts to commercial customers and DIY shoppers. You’ll provide expert advice, load and unload parts, and uphold a high standard of customer service to support sales and store operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum Age: Must be at least 18 years old to apply.
• Valid Driver’s License & Safety Compliance: Must possess a valid driver’s license and adhere to AutoZone’s driver safety requirements.
• Automotive Knowledge: Basic knowledge of automotive parts is required.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, load and deliver merchandise.
• Education: High school diploma or GED is required.
• Exceptional Communication: Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Automotive Retail: Previous experience in automotive retail is a plus.
• Hazmat Endorsement Preferred: A Hazmat endorsement is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Leadership & Teamwork – Collaborate with store personnel and commercial accounts for smooth operations.
• Metrics Mindedness & Process Orientation – Maintain efficient delivery operations with time and accuracy.
• Delivery Operations – Drive company vehicles, deliver parts to commercial customers, and load/unload per route schedule.
• Returns & Pickups – Collect returns, cores, and parts from nearby stores or vendors.
• Safety Compliance – Follow PPE guidelines and fleet safety policies.
• Cash & Charge Transactions – Process customer payments securely.
• Product Knowledge & Fleet Maintenance – Stay updated on promotions and maintain vehicles.
