Job summary

Parts Authority, a nationwide distributor, is hiring Delivery Drivers at the Willowbrook, IL location. The role involves picking up and delivering automotive parts, maintaining routes, and delivering excellent customer service.

You will operate company vehicles, follow dispatcher directions, and ensure accuracy of orders, payments, and delivery records while upholding safety standards. The position offers competitive hourly pay and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Must have current, valid driver's license.
• Meet company insurance requirements (21+ years).
• Valid automobile insurance with name on policy.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (75 lbs for Auto Body Parts Collision Drivers).
• Able to use a tablet or mobile device for navigation and signature capture.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Flexible schedule with overtime as needed.
• Previous delivery driving experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Pick up and drop off automotive parts following routes and schedules.
• Ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
• Load, transport and deliver items to customers in a courteous manner.
• Review orders before/after delivery; verify charges and customer satisfaction.
• Follow dispatcher directions and maintain safe driving record.
• Assist with loading/unloading and store/warehouse duties as assigned.
• Maintain workplace safety and handle cash/payments as required.
