Job summary

Edges Electrical Group in San Leandro, CA is hiring a full-time Delivery Driver to move electrical materials to job sites, verify orders, and support warehouse operations, including forklift duties.

You will use an iPad to track orders, coordinate with dispatch, and help with warehouse tasks after routes. A high school diploma, forklift certification, and a valid CA DMV license with a clean record are required.

We are currently recruiting for a full-time Delivery Driver in San Leandro, CA. Our Drivers are a critical piece to our logistics services, and are responsible for delivering electrical materials to various customer jobsites and facilities, which includes creating a daily delivery route based on orders received, verifying material on the truck before delivery and working with the dispatch manager for any changes in the route. I deal candidates will possess attention to detail, communication skills and provide a positive and professional attitude to all customer, vendors, and employees. Additional duties include operating a forklift, assisting in the warehouse upon completing the delivery route.

• Delivery of material to job sites or facilities.
• Communication with dispatch manager throughout driving the routes.
• Unload any RGA’s or will call’s from the route.
• Utilize an iPad to monitor track and verify customer orders
• Communicate with customers via work cell phone.
• Verify material for the the second route of the day.
• Responsible for cleaning the yard, stocking pipe and cleaning the trucks.
• Forklift operator: drives forklift to move or get material from high areas in the warehouse.
• Assist in general warehouse duties upon completing the delivery route

Education & Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent

Certificates & Licenses:Forklift Certified, Valid CA DMV license with clean DMV record in accordance with company insurance requirements.
