ProAct, Inc. is seeking a reliable delivery personnel in New York City to ensure the timely loading and delivery of Central Fill orders to retail stores. Responsibilities include load accuracy, route scheduling, vehicle inspections, and adhering to State and Federal regulations.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the loading and timely delivery of Central Fill orders to retail stores.
• Load delivery vehicle ensuring accuracy and integrity of the freight.
• Ensure compliance with all State and Federal vehicle operation laws.
• Schedule delivery routes efficiently for timely delivery.
• Perform regular vehicle inspections and document findings.
• Report any needed repairs or concerns to supervisor.
• Complete delivery manifests and time sheets accurately.
• Replenish delivery supplies as needed.
• Interact professionally with all contacts.
• Report any accidents or damages to management.
• Maintain security of inventory and company property.
• Complete all mandatory training programs.

Job Summary

Responsible for the loading and timely delivery of Central Fill orders to retail stores.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Collect and accurately prepare totes and manifests for store delivery within Central Fill.
• Load delivery vehicle in a manner which ensures the accuracy and integrity of the freight within.
• Must comply with all State and Federal laws governing the proper and safe operation of a motor vehicle.
• Schedule delivery route in most efficient manner to ensure timely delivery with least travel required.
• Perform regular vehicle inspections and document findings according to our Vehicle Maintenance Policy. Report any needed repairs or areas of concern to supervisor.
• Ensure all necessary vehicle maintenance is performed on company delivery vehicle, including maintenance of interior and exterior.
• Accurately complete delivery manifests and time sheets.
• Replenish delivery supplies as needed.
• Must be able to interact professionally with everyone you come in contact with, both internal and external to Kinney.
• Responsible for reporting any accidents, violations, or damages that may occur during your trips to management immediately.
• Must keep current with all State and Federal requirements as related to conditions of employment.
• Responsible for the security of the inventory, equipment and company property that is assigned to you.
• Responsible for completing all mandatory and regulatory training programs.
• Required to read and sign the Fleet Management Policy.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education

• Minimum: High School Diploma (or currently enrolled in) or GED

Job Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must possess a valid Drivers License in good standing.

Experience

• Preferred: 0-2 years previous experience in related position.

Special Conditions of Employment

• Drug test.
• Initial and continuous exclusion and sanction/disciplinary monitoring.
• Any and all additional eligibility requirements based on the specific position.

Compensation

$16.00 - $18.00 an hour.

The final offer will be determined after careful consideration of multiple factors such as relevant skills, years of experience and education.
