Job summary

Carter Lumber in Easley, SC, seeks a CDL Delivery Specialist to transport orders to local jobsites using our company fleet and meet daily schedules with safe, friendly service.

On site, you will unload via dump bed or a truck-mounted forklift and place materials as needed. Carter Lumber values teamwork and promotes from within as it grows.

Qualifications

• Previous delivery experience, preferably with building materials.
• Experience operating a truck-mounted forklift
• An acceptable driving record and a current CDL license
• Familiarity with building materials and delivery equipment is preferred
• Ability to be a team player

Responsibilities

• Transport orders to local customer jobsites safely and on time using company fleet.
• Ensure daily delivery schedules are met while providing friendly, professional customer service.
• Unload on site using dump bed or truck-mounted forklift to place materials at the required location.

Description

As one of our CDL Delivery Specialists, you will be responsible for transporting orders to local customer jobsites in a safe and timely manner using our well-maintained and company-owned fleet. You will ensure that daily delivery schedules are met while providing friendly and professional customer service. While on site, you will unload using dump bed or truck-mounted forklift to place the customer’s materials right where they need them.

Requirements

• Previous delivery experience, preferably with building materials
• Experience operating a truck-mounted forklift
• An acceptable driving record and a current CDL license
• Familiarity with building materials and delivery equipment is preferred
• Ability to be a team player
