Position Details

Location: King of Prussia, PA - Retail shop

Schedule: Monday - Friday, First Shift

Role Overview

As the "face of Airgas," the Delivery Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently delivering compressed gas cylinders to local and regional business customers. The role involves loading, unloading, delivering, and returning cylinders, interacting with customers, and maintaining safety and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Safely load, deliver, and unload cylinders; record deliveries; obtain customer signatures; manage empty cylinders.
• Establish and maintain good customer relations; handle service inquiries and complaints.
• Communicate effectively with management and sales teams regarding customer issues.
• Perform cylinder inspections and maintain accurate delivery documentation.
• Ensure compliance with DOT, EPA, OSHA, and other safety and regulatory standards.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Operate warehouse equipment as needed.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid Class B CDL with Hazmat Endorsement or ability to obtain.
• Valid USDOT Medical Examiner's Certificate.
• Minimum one year of Class B driving experience with a clean record.
