Richelieu is seeking a CDL-A Driver to join our distribution team. This role delivers orders to customers, prepares the truck, and ensures on-time, accurate deliveries in compliance with DOT regulations.

The position emphasizes safety, dispatch communication, and maintaining accurate delivery records. Ideal candidates have a clean driving record, valid CDL-A and DOT medical certificate, and strong customer-service skills.

Our Opportunity

We are currently seeking a CDL-A Driver to join our team of professionals. This person will report to the Warehouse Supervisor, and work with other members of the distribution team to increase company profitability and customer satisfaction by delivering complete, accurate, and on-time deliveries to Richelieu's customers. The Delivery Driver will represent the company in a highly professional, safe, and cost-effective manner that complies with DOT and other applicable regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver orders via the most effective route to ensure complete orders are delivered according to established time frames and customers' needs
• Prepare truck for operation by loading the product, securing of items and verifying the accuracy of shipping papers
• Inspect truck tires, lights, brakes, fluids, etc. to ensure safe and cost-effective performance with preventive maintenance in mind
• Maintain communication with company during deliveries to ensure any updated instructions are received
• Document delivery, accuracy and receipt of orders by the customer according to company directives and report any discrepancies
• Maintain and monitor truck maintenance and driving record requirements, and maintain required documents for safety, security, and quality processes
• Other duties as assigned

What We Are Looking For

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and DOT Medical Examiners Certificate is required
• Good driving record
