Job summary

Airgas in Moraine, OH is seeking a Local Delivery Driver (CDL A) to deliver compressed gas cylinders to local customers and build strong customer relationships. You will operate from our branch, follow safety standards, and support warehouse operations as needed.

The role offers a Monday–Friday day shift, quarterly bonus potential, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, AD&D, and disability insurance, with 401(k) and tuition assistance.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License.
• Valid Medical Examiner's Card.
• Hazmat and Airbrake Certifications.
• One year of Class A driving experience in the last five years with a clean record.

Responsibilities

• Safely load, deliver, and unload cylinders containing compressed gases to customer locations.
• Record deliveries and pickups on a load manifest and obtain signatures.
• Adhere to all safety standards and regulations (DOT, EPA, FMCSA, FDA, OSHA).
• Provide warehouse or dock support as needed.

As an Ambassador for Airgas, the Service & Delivery Professional takes pride in the safe and reliable delivery of compressed gas cylinders to our local and regional business partners. Operating from an Airgas branch or plant location using a company-provided straight or box truck, you will manage the flow of cylinders while building lasting relationships with the customers you visit.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Cylinder Handling: Safely load, deliver, and unload cylinders containing compressed gases to both external and internal customer locations.
• Record Keeping: Accurately record deliveries and pick-ups on a load manifest, obtaining customer signatures for receipt. Collect empty, rejected, or unsold cylinders and return them to a plant or branch for refilling.
• Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all Airgas safety standards (SAFECOR) and government regulations, including those from DOT, EPA, FMCSA, FDA, and OSHA.
• Warehouse Support: Provide assistance in the warehouse or on the dock as needed.
