Graybar Electric Company is seeking a Delivery Driver to provide face-to-face service while delivering orders to customers. You will drive a Graybar truck, ensure on-time delivery, and maintain positive customer relations.

The role typically features a Monday–Friday daytime schedule and home each night, with a focus on safety and efficiency. The position emphasizes customer service, compliance with DOT requirements, and the ability to load/unload using warehouse equipment.

Formación

• 1+ years experience driving a truck or trailer over 33,000 GVW or with self-unloading equipment.
• Must have a valid driver’s license for vehicle type.
• Must pass DOT medical exam and CMV certification.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely and use PPE.

Responsabilidades

• Plan routes to meet customer expectations.
• Deliver products to Graybar customers with excellent service.
• Load and unload trucks using forklift or pallet jack.
• Inspect vehicle and supplies for safe operation.
• Maintain truck logs and follow safety rules.
• Work a local route with no overnights or weekend travel.
• Avoid texting and driving at all times.

Job Posting Description

As a Delivery Driver, you will have face-to-face contact with customers as you deliver orders. You will safely drive a Graybar truck or van from the warehouse to each destination, providing on-time delivery and good customer service. You will be responsible for maintaining positive customer relations and passing along customer feedback, and even promoting services and products! One advantage of this role is that it is typically Monday-Friday during the day and you will be home each night. Work Shift and Hours:

• Monday - Friday, 5:30am - 2:30pm

Compensation Details:

• The expected pay rate for this position is starting at $24.00 per hour depending on experience.
  

In this role you will:

• Help determine best routes for delivery to meet customer expectations
• Deliver products to Graybar customers while providing excellent customer service
• Load and unload trucks using warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
• Inspect vehicle and supplies
• Safely operate vehicle at all times
• Maintain proper truck logs
• Work a local route – no overnights or weekends away
• Never text and drive

What you bring to the table:

• Customer service skills
• Ability to perform the physical requirements necessary to work in a warehouse environment; must pass pre-employment physical testing
• Safely operate warehouse equipment and proper use of PPE
• 1+ years experience required driving a truck or trailer over 33,000 Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) or trucks equipped with a boom or forklift with self-unloading capabilities
• Must have a valid driver's license issued by his/her state of residence appropriate for type of vehicle
• Must be able to pass DOT medical exam and Commercial Motor Vehicle Certification
