Job summary

Ashley Furniture is seeking a Delivery Driver in Brandon, FL. You will deliver products to customers' homes on pre-routed trips, sometimes assembling or setting up items and communicating with dispatchers.

Shift is Tue-Sat 5am-1:30pm, average 55 hours/week with overtime. Pay is $19.50/hour with overtime and benefits including health, dental, vision, an employee discount, and life/disability insurance.

Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the US.
• At least 21 years old.
• Regularly lift objects over 50 lbs.
• Ability to transport loads of 75+ lbs.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Thrive in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Drive to customers' homes on pre-routed trips.
• Delivery can range from door drop-off to a full set-up of products in a customer's home.
• Following the best practices for safety, both on the road and while loading or unloading a truck
• Communicating with dispatchers, drivers and other team members to make deliveries.

Purpose at Ashley:

The Delivery Driverdelivers products to appointed locations in an efficient, effective, and safe manner, while promoting exceptional customer service through quality workmanship, as well as clear and professional communication. You will manage driving to customers' homes on pre-routed trips. It critical to have a customer centric mindset as your delivery is direct to the customer and our goal is to always give our customers a world class experience.

What You'll Do

Shift is Tues-Sat 5am -1:30pm or until day is complete. Average hours per week is 55. Overtime paid.

$19.50 per hour with extra pay incentive for on time deliveries. (This location will be moving to Lakeland, FL in 2027)

• Driving to customers' homes on pre-routed trips.

What You Bring
