Job summary

AutoZone in Danville, KY is seeking a Delivery Driver to put safe driving skills to work and help ensure timely deliveries of automotive parts to commercial customers and DIY shoppers. You’ll load and unload parts, maintain vehicle readiness, and provide knowledgeable product information while upholding safety policies and delivering excellent customer service.

You’ll work with company-provided vehicles, no CDL required, and have opportunities for growth within our essential retail operation.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old to apply.
• Valid driver’s license and adherence to safety requirements.
• Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
• Ability to lift, load and deliver merchandise.
• Flexible full-time schedule including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver WOW! Customer Service by engaging with commercial customers and DIY shoppers, providing clear and professional automotive advice and offering installation services.
• Work closely with store personnel and commercial accounts, ensuring smooth team collaboration and strong customer relationships.
• Maintain efficient delivery operations, meeting time and accuracy goals while following company policies.
• Drive company-provided vehicles, ensuring safe and timely deliveries of automotive parts to commercial customers; load and unload parts per route schedules.
• Collect returns, cores, and parts from nearby stores or outside vendors.
• Adhere to PPE guidelines and fleet safety policies to maintain a safe driving and working environment.
• Process customer payments securely and in accordance with company policies.
• Stay updated on promotions and automotive products through AutoZone systems; maintain delivery vehicles and report issues promptly.
