Job summary

AutoZone is seeking a Delivery Driver in Georgia to provide exceptional customer service, operate company vehicles safely, and support inventory and delivery operations. You will assist both commercial accounts and DIY customers, offering automotive knowledge and accurate delivery services, while upholding safety standards.

Responsibilities include timely deliveries, load/unload tasks, returns handling, and maintaining vehicle readiness.

Qualifications

• Minimum Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old to apply.
• Valid driver’s license and Safety Compliance: Must possess a valid driver’s license and adhere to driver safety requirements.
• Automotive knowledge: Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
• Physical requirements: Ability to lift, load and deliver merchandise.
• Exceptional communication: Strong people skills and English & Spanish communication.

Responsibilities

• Customer Service Excellence & Communication – Deliver WOW! Customer Service by engaging with commercial customers and DIY shoppers, providing clear and professional automotive advice and offering installation services.
• Leadership & Teamwork – Work closely with store personnel and commercial accounts, ensuring smooth team collaboration and strong customer relationships.
• Metrics Mindedness & Process Orientation – Maintain efficient delivery operations, meeting time and accuracy goals while following company policies.
• Delivery Operations – Drive company-provided vehicles, ensuring safe and timely deliveries of automotive parts to commercial customers. Load and unload parts per route schedules.
• Returns & Pickups – Collect returns, cores, and parts from nearby stores or outside vendors.
• Safety Compliance – Adhere to PPE guidelines and fleet safety policies.
• Cash & Charge Transactions – Process customer payments securely and in accordance with company policies.
• Product Knowledge & Fleet Maintenance – Stay updated on promotions and automotive products through AutoZone systems. Maintain delivery vehicles and report issues.
