Job summary

AutoZone in Jackson, MS is hiring a Delivery Driver to support store operations and deliver parts to commercial customers and DIY shoppers using company-provided vehicles. You’ll provide friendly, knowledgeable service and help customers select the right parts.

You’ll rely on safe driving, basic automotive knowledge, and accurate deliveries to support loads, unloads, and timely routes. No CDL is required and you’ll work a full-time schedule with varying shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid Driver’s License & Safety Compliance: maintain compliant driving.
• Automotive knowledge: basic familiarity with parts.
• Physical ability to lift/load/deliver merchandise.
• Flexible schedule: full-time, mornings/nights/weekends/overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver WOW! Customer Service by engaging with commercial customers and DIY shoppers, providing clear automotive advice and offering installation services.
• Work closely with store personnel and commercial accounts to ensure smooth team collaboration and strong customer relationships.
• Maintain efficient delivery operations, meet time and accuracy goals while following company policies.
• Drive company-provided vehicles; deliver parts to commercial customers; load/unload per route schedules.
• Collect returns, cores, and parts from nearby stores or outside vendors.
• Adhere to PPE and fleet safety policies to maintain a safe driving environment.
• Process customer payments securely and in accordance with company policies.
• Stay updated on promotions and automotive products through AutoZone systems; maintain delivery vehicles.
