Job summary

AutoZone is hiring a Delivery Driver in California. You will use company-provided vehicles to deliver automotive parts to commercial customers and DIY shoppers, while providing expert product knowledge and excellent service.

No CDL is required, and you’ll contribute to safe, timely deliveries and efficient operations. The role emphasizes strong communication, adherence to safety policies, and teamwork with store personnel and commercial accounts.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18+ to apply.
• Valid driver’s license and safety compliance per company policy.
• Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
• Ability to lift, load and deliver merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Customer Service Excellence & Communication – Deliver WOW! Customer Service by engaging with customers and providing automotive advice.
• Leadership & Teamwork – Collaborate with store personnel and commercial accounts to build strong customer relationships.
• Metrics Mindedness & Process Orientation – Maintain delivery operations meeting time and accuracy goals.
• Delivery Operations – Drive company-provided vehicles and deliver parts to commercial customers; load/unload per route.
• Returns & Pickups – Collect returns, cores, and parts from nearby stores or vendors.
• Safety Compliance – Follow PPE guidelines and fleet safety policies.
• Cash & Charge Transactions – Process customer payments securely.
• Product Knowledge & Fleet Maintenance – Stay updated on promotions and automotive products; maintain vehicles.
