Job summary

AutoZone in Centralia, WA is seeking a part-time Delivery Driver to join our store team. You will drive company-provided vehicles, deliver auto parts to commercial customers and DIY shoppers, and provide expert product guidance to help customers find the right solutions.

This role emphasizes safe driving, on-time deliveries, and accurate loading/unloading. The ideal candidate is 18+, has a valid driver's license, basic automotive knowledge, and can communicate in English (and Spanish a plus).

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license and adherence to safety requirements.
• Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
• Ability to lift, load and deliver merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Deliver WOW! customer service by engaging with commercial customers and DIY shoppers, providing clear and professional automotive advice and offering installation services.
• Work closely with store personnel and commercial accounts, ensuring smooth team collaboration and strong customer relationships.
• Maintain efficient delivery operations, meeting time and accuracy goals while following company policies.
• Drive company-provided vehicles, ensuring safe and timely deliveries of automotive parts to commercial customers. Load and unload parts accurately per route schedules.
• Collect returns, cores, and parts from nearby stores or outside vendors.
• Adhere to PPE guidelines and fleet safety policies to maintain a safe driving and working environment.
• Process customer payments securely and in accordance with company policies.
• Stay updated on promotions and automotive products through AutoZone systems. Maintain delivery vehicles and report any issues promptly.
