Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company is seeking a Delivery Driver to work at Store #1004 in Morgantown, WV. You will deliver products from Sherwin-Williams stores in a safe, timely manner and assist customers with their paint and related product needs.

Key tasks include loading and unloading items, tinting or mixing products as needed, and maintaining the store vehicle. Must be 21+, possess a valid driver's license, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs (70 lbs occasionally).

Qualifications

• Must have strong customer service skills and be able to handle cash transactions.
• Experience in retail or delivery roles is preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers and teammates.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent sales service to customers in-store and as needed during deliveries
• Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting appropriate products and services
• Process sales transactions accurately and consistent with policies and procedures
• Follow and achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis
• Load, transport, and deliver items to customers in a safe, timely manner
• Assist with loading and unloading items from vehicles
• Maintain the store vehicle and alert supervisor to repair needs
• Adhere to assigned routes and follow time schedules
• Comply with safety regulations while driving and operating equipment
• Prepare reports and documents relating to deliveries
• Operate vehicles and related equipment such as cars, trucks, forklifts
