Job summary

K2 Logistix is seeking Delivery Associates for our Hamilton, NJ distribution operation. The role involves delivering packages using a company vehicle, loading/unloading, and ensuring on-time, accurate deliveries with excellent customer service.

We offer 10-hour day shifts, starting around 10:30 AM, seven days a week availability, full-time and part-time options, and paid training. CDL is not required; a valid driver's license and clean driving record are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company delivery vehicle at all times.
• Safely and efficiently load and unload delivery vehicles.
• Deliver packages accurately and on time.
• Use a handheld device for routing, navigation, and customer delivery information.
• Navigate a variety of routes throughout the assigned delivery area.
• Follow assigned delivery schedules and routes.
• Load and unload packages for delivery.
• Provide excellent customer service and a positive delivery experience.
• Work safely and comfortably in varying weather conditions.
• Maintain strong attention to detail and follow directions accurately.
• Communicate with managers and authorized company employees regarding scheduling, performance, and other work-related matters.
• Be a dependable team player while also working independently when required.

Physical Requirements

Delivery Associates should be comfortable performing physical activities throughout their shift, including:

• Lifting and carrying packages weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Getting in and out of the delivery van frequently.
• Walking and standing for extended periods.
• Walking up and down stairs during deliveries.
• Loading and unloading packages throughout the workday.
• Performing essential job duties with or without reasonable accommodation.

Basic Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug test.
• Must be comfortable driving for extended periods.
• Must be comfortable working in varying weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions.
• Reliable, punctual, and customer-focused.
• Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
• Must be able to receive text messages from company managers and other authorized employees regarding scheduling, performance, and other work-related matters on the phone number provided during the application process.
