Job summary

Delivery One LLC is seeking a full-time driver to deliver packages on the road, with shifts from 9 am to 8 pm, seven days a week. You will operate a company vehicle, load/unload packages, and provide outstanding service while adhering to safety policies.

Ideal candidates should be reliable, independent, and capable of navigating routes efficiently. No CDL required, and military veterans are welcome. Training is paid.

• At least 21 years of age.
• Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive and operate delivery vehicle at all times.
• Use hand-held device for routing information and customer delivery information.
• Navigate a variety of routes throughout delivery area.
• Load and unload packages to be delivered.
• Follow all local & state laws, road regulations, and company policies.
• Provide excellent customer service and satisfaction despite stressful conditions.
• Lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly and be able to load/unload up to 70 lbs.
• Communicate effectively with support team to ensure deliveries are completed.
• Use smartphone for GPS navigation, scanning packages, and clocking in/out.

Approximate hours are 9 am to 8 pm. Shifts range between 8-10 hours per day and shifts are available 7 days per week.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Safely drive and operate your delivery vehicle at all times.
• Use hand held device for routing information, customer delivery information.
• Navigate a variety of routes throughout delivery area.
• Must be comfortable driving and working in varying weather conditions. Load and unload packages to be delivered
• Follow all local & state laws, road/driving regulations, and Company policies
• Provide excellent customer service and satisfaction despite stressful events conditions
• Keep pace in physically demanding job; work in all weather conditions and on various routes; lift and lower packages weighing up to 50 lbs. on a frequent basis; tilt, push and slide packages weighing between 50-70 lbs. on and off a hand truck without a helper on a frequent basis; get in and out of a van repeatedly throughout the day at variable locations
• Communicate effectively with support team to provide exceptional customer service and ensure deliveries are completed
• Use smart phone device for GPS Navigation, scanning packages, conducting administrative requirements such as clocking in/out, and communicate with supervisors and other team members
• Load and unload packages in delivery vehicle
• Support the team in daily work requirements including participation in rescue calls when other team members need assistance with their routes
• Be CUSTOMER OBSESSED!! We strive to deliver packages and smiles to our customers.
• Perform the following tasks, with or without reasonable accommodation:
• Lift packages up to 50 lbs.
• Able to get in and out of van and walk up and down stairs through your shift
