Job summary

Hahn Ace Hardware is seeking a dependable, customer-focused part-time Delivery Driver / Assembly Associate to join our team. This hands-on role combines driving, customer service, and light mechanical assembly.

You will deliver merchandise safely, assist with assembly of grills, lawn mowers, and more, and help maintain the backroom and sales floor. Weekend availability is required, with a flexible schedule and the opportunity for additional hours during busy seasons.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to lift and move up to 75 lbs with assistance when needed.
• Basic mechanical or assembly skills.
• Friendly, professional, and dependable.
• Strong time management and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and stay productive.
• Retail or delivery experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver merchandise to homes and businesses in a safe and timely manner.
• Load, secure, and unload products carefully.
• Assemble grills, lawn mowers, patio furniture, wheelbarrows, and other products.
• Review products before delivery to ensure quality and completeness.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and in-store interactions.
• Assist customers with carry-outs and loading merchandise.
• Help maintain a clean and organized backroom, delivery area, and sales floor.
• Support store operations as needed during slower delivery periods.

Position Summary
