Ashers Chocolate Co in Montgomery County, PA is seeking a local Delivery Driver / Warehouse Picker-Packer. This role runs Monday–Friday, 1st shift, with occasional after-hours as needed. You will deliver products to customers and pick orders in the warehouse, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Summary
This position is a local Delivery Driver and Warehouse Picker/Packer combination. Hours are Monday – Friday
1st shift, may infrequently require work outside of these hours. This is a critical position that delivers products to customers, as well as selecting orders in the warehouse.

The ability to read, write, and comprehend English to safely perform all duties and requirements of the position.
Employee must have the ability to safely stand, walk, pull, push, and lift boxes weighing up to 50 pounds to a height of 5 feet either manually or with the aid of material handling equipment over an eight (8) hour shift.
Ability to pull pallet loads of up to 1700 pounds in a safe manner.
Must maintain current driver’s license, have a safe driving record with no at fault accidents, or moving violations within a 5 (five) year period.
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
1-3 years related experience and/or formal driver training with the appropriate certificates and/or diplomas. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Must possess the knowledge and understanding of safe driving techniques for various forms of weather conditions, road conditions, and the ability to drive safely in both in daylight and nighttime hours.
Perform local deliveries as business need dictates.
Approximately 60% of work is performed in a manufacturing facility which is climate controlled and may contain allergens. The delivery driver must be able to continuously walk, stand, sit and withstand working in a warehouse with a concrete floor, and extreme temperature changes in the range of 60° degrees to an excess of 100° degrees F.
