Job Overview

As a delivery driver you will transport Domino’s Pizza and promotional materials to customers within a designated delivery area. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement within the company.

Job Requirements and Duties

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Have a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record that meets company standards.
• Use an insured vehicle for delivery. At least one vehicle must be available.
• Possess navigational skills to read maps, locate addresses, and navigate multi‑story buildings and other delivery sites.
• Operate all delivery equipment, including hand trucks and vehicle gear.
• Stock ingredients from the delivery area to the storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.
• Prepare product according to company standards.
• Complete orientation and on‑the‑job training provided by the store.
• Illustrate excellent communication skills: written, verbal, and telephone, to receive and process orders.
• Perform basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) and handle monetary change accurately.
• Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Maintain eye‑hand coordination and motor coordination for rapid and precise movements.

Driving Specific Duties

• Deliver products by car to the door of each customer.
• Deliver flyers and door hangers.

Work Conditions

• Exposure to varying weather conditions while performing outside tasks.
• In‑store temperatures ranging from 36°F to 90°F or higher, with sudden temperature changes.
• Fumes from food odors and cornmeal dust.
• Hot surfaces/tools up to 500°F.
• Occupational hazards such as sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.
• Work may be physically demanding due to walking, climbing, lifting, pushing, and operating in cramped quarters.

Physical Requirements

• Standing for most tasks, walking for short distances, and occasional climbing of stairs or ladders.
• Carrying and carrying items: pizzas, beverages, large cans, pizza sauce, and trays of dough weighing up to 12 pounds per tray.
• Lifting up to 50 pounds (cases of ingredients and supplies).
• Pushing or pulling dollies with up to 30–40 pounds.
• Stooping, bending, crouching, and squatting at cleaning and stocking stations.
• Reaching above 72 inches to operate oven controls or change prices on signs.
• Eye‑hand coordination and fine motor skills for pizza assembly and box packaging.
