About the Job

Drivers typically average over $20/hr (Wage + Tips + Mileage reimbursement). Mileage reimbursement and tips paid daily; hourly wages paid out every other Friday.

Delivery experts can use their own car and receive an adjustable mileage reimbursement to cover fuel costs and other auto expenses, or use one of the company‑provided vehicles. Must be at least 21, have a clean driving record, and a minimum of two years of driving history. A safe driving record is a must.

Job Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must pass a background check and have a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record (subject to review).
• Must have a reliable vehicle and valid insurance.
• Must possess good navigational skills and be able to read/follow maps and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
• Must navigate adverse terrain including multi‑story buildings to deliver products.
• Must be able to follow directives, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work well under stress, meet strict quality standards, provide excellent customer service, analyze and compile data, and make good judgments and decisions.

Work Conditions

• Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when delivering product or distributing flyers and door hangers.
• Sudden changes in temperature in work area and while outside – in‑store temperatures range from 36°F to 90°F and above in some work areas.
• Fumes from food odors, including exposure to cornmeal dust.
• Compact work areas including walk‑in cooler.
• Hot surfaces/tools including oven reaching 500°F or higher.
• Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.

Physical Duties & Requirements

• Walking/Carrying/Climbing – Travel between the store and delivery vehicle, carrying pizzas and beverages, navigating 5+ flights of stairs.
• Driving – Use safe driving practices to deliver products within a designated area and make several deliveries per shift.
• Forward bending – Needed at pizza assembly station; approximately 30‑45 seconds per instance, repeated throughout the day. Occasional bending at front counter and when stocking ingredients.
• Reaching – Continuous; up, down, forward; above 72″ to turn oven controls, change prices, lift/lower objects. Down to scoop cornmeal, wash dishes. Forward for toppings, cleaning, phone calls.
• Hand tasks – Hand use continuous; manipulate pizza peel, rolling cutter, shape dough, pinch cardboard boxes, grasp cans, cutters, etc.
• Sensing – Talk and hear on telephone; depth perception, near/mid‑range vision required for store tasks; ability to differentiate hot/cold surfaces; far and night vision for driving.
