Job summary

DZ Logistics Inc. is hiring reliable Delivery Drivers to join our growing team in Slidell, Louisiana. You will load and unload parcels, drive safely to customer locations, and deliver with professionalism.

Starting pay is $22.50/hour with a full-time schedule of 4 days/week, 9-hour shifts, and at least one weekend day; part-time options are also available. Paid training, PTO, health insurance, and a 401(k) retirement plan are offered.

Qualifications

• Be 21 years of age or older.
• Hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Have no DUI, reckless, or careless driving violations within the last 2 years.
• Pass a background check and drug screening as part of the hiring process.
• Be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Enter and exit a delivery vehicle multiple times per shift.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Be dependable, safety-focused, and customer-oriented.
• Maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced, physical role.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload delivery vehicles with packages to be delivered.
• Drive safely, following GPS coordinates and traffic laws.
• Deliver products to customers in a professional and courteous manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle.
• Report any issues or problems to management immediately.
