Job Description

Solar Atmospheres of California, a NADCAP accredited company, is a leader in providing heat treating and brazing services of the highest quality. We are currently seeking a Truck Driver to join our team in Fontana, CA.

Our ideal candidate is reliable, professional, with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn. Prior driving experience (CDL or non-CDL), along with shipping and receiving knowledge, is preferred. The candidate should have good organizational skills, attention to detail, and be willing to take on additional tasks as the role develops. Responsibilities

1. Interact with the shipping department to load and secure deliveries each morning.
2. Prioritize safety, caution, and efficiency during daily routes.
3. Interact professionally with customers and assist in unloading deliveries as needed.
4. Ensure accurate completion of paperwork for each delivery.
5. Assist on the shop floor during slower delivery days.
6. Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, rolling ladders, skid loaders, and other material handling tools.
7. Use office equipment including computers, phones, photocopiers, and fax machines.
8. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

1. High School Diploma or equivalent, with relevant work experience.
2. Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
3. Prior driving experience preferred (CDL or non-CDL).
4. Reliability and dependability to ensure timely deliveries.
5. Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.
6. Previous experience in warehouse, shipping, or receiving roles.
7. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, and work around material handling equipment.
