Job summary

Mattress Firm Inc. is seeking a warehouse/driver role in the United States (Hawaii) with weekend requirements and applicants must be at least 21 years old. Compensation ranges from $23.00 to $24.50 per hour, plus a $2,500 sign-on bonus.

Internal applicants must apply via Mattress Firm Workday. Duties include loading, delivering, and setting up products to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction. The role involves lifting, driving, documentation, and adherence to safety policies.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ Years related experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• Familiarity with navigation systems.
• Microsoft Office products (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Prepare, receive, and provide documentation for the delivery or pickup of product to ensure timely service.
• Load, secure, and unload cargo.
• Operate a truck that transports cargo to and from specified destinations.
• Obtain client and customer signatures as acknowledgment of having received the delivered products.
• Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring proper setup and removal of old products in a safe manner.
• Maintain contact with router to receive instructions about scheduled delivery or pickup.
• Follow delivery driving routes and time schedules.
• Maintain logs of travel and cargo according to federal and state regulations.
• Responsible for daily vehicle inspection reporting and routine maintenance of vehicle and all other equipment provided.
• Complete all required training modules and certificates prior to the due date.
• Ensure all safety policies and procedures are followed to ensure a safe work environment for all.
• Communicate professionally with all internal and external contacts.
• Follow all Company policies and execute Company standards on appearance and functionality as well as appropriate brand representation.
• Communicate any concerns or issues to leadership to ensure proper efficiency of department and company operations.
