Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license.
• Minimum 2 years verifiable driving history.
• Must pass a Motor Vehicle Record check.
• Access to a reliable, insured vehicle suitable for delivery.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Strong time management and customer service skills.
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Familiarity with the Scott AFB area is a plus.
• Proficiency with GPS navigation systems and basic mobile technology.
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a vehicle to deliver products to customers in assigned routes within the Scott AFB area and surrounding neighborhoods.
• Navigate routes efficiently using GPS and local knowledge to optimize delivery times and fuel consumption.
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers professionally, answering questions, and handling transactions with accuracy and courtesy.
• Maintain accurate delivery records, including customer signatures, delivery times, and any special instructions or issues.
• Inspect vehicle daily for mechanical issues, cleanliness, and safety compliance; report maintenance needs promptly.
• Handle packages and products with care, ensuring items arrive in excellent condition.
• Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding delays, route changes, or customer concerns.
• Follow all traffic laws, company safety protocols, and vehicle operation guidelines.
• Build positive relationships with customers and represent the organization's commitment to quality and reliability.
• Organize and manage delivery schedules to meet daily targets while maintaining flexibility for urgent requests.
