JOB REQUIREMENTS AND DUTIES

You must be 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license with a safe driving record meeting company standards as well as access to an insured vehicle which can be used for delivery. You should possess navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within the designated delivery area and be able to navigate adverse terrain including multi‑story buildings.

QUALIFICATIONS

General job duties for all store team members include:

• Operate all equipment.
• Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk‑in cooler.
• Prepare product.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.

Communication Skills:

• Comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.

Essential Functions/Skills:

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).
• Make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and precisely make movements with speed.
• Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.

WORK CONDITIONS

Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when removing trash and performing other outside tasks.

In‑store temperatures range from 36 °F in cooler to 90 °F and above in some work areas. Sudden changes in temperature in work areas and while outside. Fumes from food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped quarters including walk‑in cooler. Hot surfaces/tools from oven up to 500 °F or higher. Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.

TEMPERAMENTS

The ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet strict quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Standing: most tasks are performed from a standing position.
• Walking: for short distances and short durations on surfaces such as ceramic tile, bricks with linoleum. Height of work surfaces is 36–48 in.
• Lifting: bulk product deliveries are unloaded by hand truck; cases up to 50 lb. Cases stacked up to 72 in. high.
• Carrying: large cans (≈3 lb), pizza sauce (≈30 lb), trays of pizza dough (≈12 lb per tray). Occasionally carried from workstation to storage shelves.
• Pushing: move trays on dollies up to 30 in. width; force up to 7.5 lb.
• Climbing: navigate stairs or ladder infrequently for maintenance.
• Forward bending: at pizza assembly station, front counter and stocking ingredients (30–45 s per bout, continuous).
• Crouching/Squatting: occasionally to stock shelves and clean low areas.
• Reaching: up, down, forward; above 72 in. for ovens or ladders, down for scooping cornmeal or washing dishes.

Machines, tools, equipment, and work aids may include pencils/pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutter and pizza peel.

DRIVING SPECIFIC JOB DUTIES

• Deliver product by car to customer's door.
• Deliver flyers and door hangers.
