Job Description
We are looking for qualified drivers to staff stores in your area. As we grow, there are opportunities to advance, potentially to management or beyond.

Responsibilities

• Deliver product by car to customers and door-to-door delivery.
• Deliver flyers and door hangers as needed.
• Operate equipment and assist with stock and product preparation as part of store team.
• Receive and process telephone orders; take inventory and complete related paperwork.
• Maintain clean equipment and facility on a daily basis.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Access to an insured vehicle for delivery.
• Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area; ability to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
• Ability to understand and execute written instructions; clear verbal communication with customers and co-workers.

Essential Functions/Skills

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately (may use calculator); make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, written, and telephone communication to process orders.
• Eye-hand coordination to perform tasks with speed and accuracy; enter orders using computer keyboard or touch screen.

Work Conditions

• Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when delivering and performing outside tasks.
• In-store temperatures range from cool to hot depending on area; may experience sudden temperature changes.
• Exposure to food odors, cornmeal dust, and other kitchen-related conditions.
• Cramped quarters (including walk-in cooler) and hot surfaces up to 500 degrees or higher; sharp edges and moving parts.

Sensing and Temperaments

• Talking and hearing on telephone; near and mid-range vision for in-store tasks; depth perception.
• Ability to differentiate hot and cold surfaces; the temperament to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, and interact with people.

Physical Requirements

• Standing for most tasks; walking for short distances; ability to lift up to 50 pounds and maneuver cases and supplies; climb stairs as needed.
• Manual dexterity for handling dough, ingredients, and equipment; ability to push and pull pushcarts and trays; reach above and below shoulder height as required.

Driving and Delivering Details

• Deliver pizzas and beverages within designated delivery areas; multiple deliveries per shift possible.
• Safely deliver product to customer locations and manage occasional off-site tasks.
