MBR Management is seeking a reliable Delivery Driver to serve Champaign, IL. You will deliver orders with a focus on safety, accuracy, and friendly customer service, while following routes and schedules.

You will operate independently within a supportive team and be responsible for maintaining records, vehicle safety, and timely deliveries. Equal opportunity employer, with accommodations available.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older with a valid driver's license.
• Minimum 2 years of driving history with a clean Motor Vehicle Record meeting company standards.
• Access to a reliable, insured vehicle suitable for delivery purposes.
• Must pass a comprehensive criminal background check and Motor Vehicle Record Check.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple deliveries.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor.
• Ability to navigate using GPS technology and local knowledge of the Champaign area (preferred).
• Physical capability to safely lift, carry, and handle packages of varying sizes.
• Reliable and punctual with a commitment to meeting delivery schedules.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Positive attitude, resilience, and ability to work independently while being part of a collaborative team.
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and basic troubleshooting (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a vehicle to deliver products to customers throughout the Champaign area in a timely and professional manner.
• Plan and optimize delivery routes to ensure efficient time management and on-time arrivals.
• Maintain accurate delivery records, including customer signatures, delivery confirmations, and any special instructions.
• Provide friendly, courteous customer service at each delivery stop, addressing customer inquiries and concerns with empathy and professionalism.
• Inspect vehicle condition before and after each shift, reporting any maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly.
• Handle packages with care, ensuring products arrive in excellent condition and are placed appropriately at delivery locations.
• Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies to maintain a safe driving record.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and management regarding delivery status, delays, or customer feedback.
• Maintain a professional appearance and conduct that reflects positively on our organization.
• Demonstrate resilience and flexibility in adapting to changing delivery schedules and customer needs.
