Job summary

Burrows Cabinets, LP is seeking a Delivery Driver to transport cabinets from our manufacturing facility to job sites across the DFW area and Central Texas. You will be responsible for loading and unloading cabinets, driving a 24' box truck, and ensuring on-time deliveries in all types of weather.

This is a full-time position with emphasis on safety and efficiency. We offer medical, dental, vision, 401(k) and paid time off, with occasional overtime as demand requires.

Qualifications

Job Summary

Delivery Drivers are responsible for transporting cabinets from manufacturing facility to job site

Responsibilities and Duties

• Make deliveries in the DFW area, Central and South Central Texas
• Ability to drive a 24' box truck
• Repeatedly load and unload cabinets weighing up to 100 lbs without damaging the product
• Delivery experience
• Ability to follow written and/or verbal instructions
• Ability to repeatedly lift over 30 pounds without consideration
• Possess diligent attention to safety
• Current driver’s license and clean driving record
• Must be able to work outdoors in various weather & driving conditions
• Must pass pre-employment testing
• Must be able to work long hours

Physical requirements for delivery drivers include the ability to lift 50-150 pounds. Frequent walking, climbing stairs, and entering/exiting vehicles.

Key Physical Demands & Abilities

• Lifting & Carrying:Ability to lift, push, and pull packages weighing up to 50 lbs regularly, with some roles requiring up to 150 lbs.
• Mobility:Frequent sitting, standing, walking, and stair climbing.
• Physical Stamina:Endurance is required to handle multiple stops per day in varied, often extreme, weather conditions.
• Dexterity:Ability to manage heavy items using tools like dollies and operate handheld devices for tracking.
