Job summary

Hire Up Staffing is seeking a Non-CDL Delivery Driver in Tucson, AZ to join our client’s team. Temp-to-hire position for someone with recent commercial driving experience who enjoys being on the road and delivering excellent customer service.

Pay is $20–$22/hour, depending on experience, with a Monday–Friday schedule. Start and end times vary by route; home daily. The role involves routes, loading/unloading, and basic warehouse support, with DOT/FMCSA compliance and customer-facing duties.

Qualifications

• 12+ months of verifiable commercial driving experience.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Current DOT Medical Card.
• Familiarity with FMCSA rules and regulations.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a commercial vehicle or box truck on delivery routes.
• Deliver products and materials accurately and on time.
• Load and unload boxes, pallets, pipe, wire, and other materials.
• Safely secure and handle cargo to prevent damage.
• Follow assigned routes and manage delivery schedules efficiently.
• Provide professional and courteous customer service.
• Obtain customer signatures and complete delivery documentation.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs or safety concerns.
• Follow all DOT, FMCSA, traffic, and company safety regulations.
• Assist with basic warehouse duties when not making deliveries.
• Organize inventory and help prepare orders as needed.
• Resolve basic delivery issues and communicate any problems to management.

This is a temp-to-hire opportunity for someone with recent commercial driving experience who enjoys being on the road while providing excellent customer service.

Pay & Schedule Pay: $20–$22/hour depends on experience Schedule: Monday–Friday Start/End Time: Between 5:30 AM and 2:30 PM, depending on route Home Daily: Yes

What You'll Need

• At least 12 months of recent, verifiable commercial driving experience
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Current DOT Medical Card (Med Card)
• Familiarity with FMCSA rules and regulations
• Ability to pass a DOT physical
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Good time management and organizational skills
• Ability to safely lift and move up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to sit and drive for extended periods
• Comfortable loading and unloading materials
• Ability to climb stairs as needed
