What does a Delivery Associate do?

• Drives a delivery van to drop off packages at customer homes, retail, and business locations
• Ensure delivery vehicle is clean, fueled, and in good operating condition at all times
• Interact with customers in a positive and professional manner
• Follow up on customer requests or problems with solution orientated approach to keep customer informed of delivery progress
• Use GPS and smartphone technology to deliver customer packages, manage delivery progress, and solve obstacles

Qualifications

What are the candidate requirements?

• Must be 21 years or older
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license with a good driving record
• Willingness to submit a pre-employment background check
• Willingness to submit a pre-employment drug test
• Proficient in English sufficient to meet US DOT standard of ability to read road signs and communicate with regulatory personnel

Compensation & Benefits

• Staring pay is $24.50/hour with opportunities for overtime at $36.75/hour
• Eligible to receive performance-based pay raises after 90 days of employment - up to $27.50/hour
• 3 days of paid training and a ride along with a veteran driver after training
• Health insurance & benefits after 30 days of employment
• Paid Time Off - starts accruing IMMEDIATELY - 2 weeks/year
• Up to $5250 in tuition assistance each year for continuing education
• Company matching 401k for qualified drivers after 90 days of employment
