Job summary

Papa John's is seeking a delivery driver to join their team in the United States. The role involves preparing the vehicle for delivery, ensuring order accuracy, and delivering with a focus on customer service and urgency.

You will work as part of a team, maintain punctual shifts, and assist with closing duties. Cash handling, order processing, and upselling are part of daily duties in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license with a minimum of 2 years experience.
• Proof of car insurance, a reliable vehicle, and the ability to drive.
• Acceptable motor vehicle record (not required to be squeaky clean).
• Must be 18 or older.

Responsibilities

• Pre-delivery vehicle preparation, learn the delivery area, check orders for quality/accuracy, follow delivery procedures, provide quality customer service in person or by phone, and act with urgency.
• Work as part of a team, be on time, support other stations, and complete all closing duties, including cleaning; adhere to uniform and appearance standards.
• Process order paperwork and payments, perform cash handling, use the FOCUS system, and promote sales to increase average check while distributing door hangers.

Driver Expectations

Key Ingredients

• Perform duties including pre-delivery vehicle preparation, learning the delivery area, checking orders for quality and accuracy, following proper delivery procedures, providing quality customer service through positive and professional interaction with customers in person or by phone, and acting with a sense of urgency in everything they do. Perform other assigned workstation duties including making quality products, preparing ingredients, and taking orders.
• Work as part of a team and assist each other by being on time for their shift, supporting other workstations during their shift, and completing all closing duties, including cleaning, at the end of each shift. Enhance the company’s image by complying with uniform and appearance standards. Contribute to an atmosphere of teamwork, energy, and fun.
• Accurately process order paperwork and payment transactions, execute cash management duties, and use the FOCUS system. Support sales efforts by suggestively selling to increase the check average when taking an order and distributing door hangers during every shift. Protect the company’s assets by maintaining organized, safe, and clean work areas; comply with safety and security standards at all times.
