Job summary

Industrial Supply Corporation is seeking a Warehouse/Delivery Associate to support Vendor-Managed Inventory (VMI) operations. You will oversee replenishment, manage storage, and provide professional service to ensure smooth operations and high customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include processing orders, deliveries, inventory replenishment, and collaborating with sales teams to meet customer needs while maintaining vehicle readiness and a clean work area.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in warehouse ops or delivery within warehouse/retail
• Strong understanding of warehouse functions and processes
• Proficiency with inventory systems and related processes

Responsibilities

Job summary

Responsible for performing Vendor-Managed Inventory (VMI) functions, including overseeing the replenishment of customer inventory, implementing and organizing material storage systems, and providing professional customer service to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Gather and process orders using barcode scanning, vending systems, and other methods.
• Load and deliver orders to customer locations in a timely and efficient manner.
• Replenish customer inventory at designated locations, including bin stocking and vending machine restocking.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-labeled stocking area at customer sites.
• Collect signatures from customers as proof of delivery.
• Collaborate with outside sales representatives to ensure customer needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
• Work closely with inside sales teams to ensure accurate order processing and adherence to inventory management procedures.
• Maintain and manage the VMI delivery vehicle, ensuring it is in good working condition and properly stocked for deliveries,

Preferred Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse operations or delivery within a warehouse or retail setting.
• Strong understanding of warehouse functions, processes, and best practices.
• Proficiency in inventory management systems and related processes.
• Experience with industrial supply order entry, management, and processing.

Required Qualifications:

• Previous warehouse experience in a similar distribution or logistics operation.
• Delivery experience, with a proven track record of timely and accurate service.
• Clean motor vehicle record and valid driver's license.
• Professional appearance, attitude, and demeanor in all interactions.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and assist customers.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to perform tasks both sitting and standing, depending on the work environment (office or industrial) and customer/equipment location.
• May require lifting and transporting equipment, either in a delivery vehicle or personal vehicle, as part of the job duties.
