Job summary

Jimmy John's in Smyrna, TN is seeking a delivery driver to quickly bring sandwiches to customers while maintaining safety and accuracy. You will learn efficient routes, verify orders, and hustle on busy shifts.

Base pay plus tips and mileage reimbursement, with daily take-home for cash tips. When not delivering, you may work as an in-shopper; you must be 18+, have a valid license, proof of insurance, a clean driving record, and be able to follow the dress code.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Weekend and/or night availability required.
• Must have a vehicle, valid driver’s license, and proof of insurance.
• Clean driving record and obey traffic laws.
• Ability to take phone orders for delivery and pickup.

Responsibilities

• Deliver orders promptly to customers.
• Shop in store when not delivering.
• Follow Jimmy John’s dress code.
• Assist with bagging orders and ensuring accuracy.

Pay breakdown: Hourly base pay, plus mileage reimbursement, plus tips.

Jimmy John's Delivery Driver's goal is to get that sandwich in the customer's hand as quick as can be. We do this by learning the most efficient route, double checking orders to ensure everything is accounted for, and hustling on our feet (while always being safe and law abiding while on the street). Drivers take home cash everyday.

While not on the road, Drivers work as In shoppers and are compensated accordingly. Delivery is a customer service job, so following customer's request and doing it with a smile can lead to more successful days.

Requirements:

• MUST have weekend and/or night availability
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must have a vehicle, valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and a clean driving record
• Drive safe and obey the rules of the road
• Work as an in-shopper when there are no deliveries
• Adheres to the Jimmy John's Dress Code
• Must be able to take phone orders for delivery and pickup
• At times will need to bag delivery orders ensuring all requested products are included
