Job summary

DHF is seeking a dependable Delivery Driver to support our team and serve customers with a positive, friendly mindset. You will transport packages to business addresses within your region, load and unload cargo, and use navigation tools to arrive at the correct destination.

The ideal candidate communicates clearly, maintains a professional demeanor, and provides excellent service at all times. This role is part-time, offering 30–35 hours weekly with hourly pay between $16 and $17.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.

• High school diploma or GED required; some post high school education or training preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with customers during deliveries.
• Coordinates questions and issues with the appropriate department personnel.
• Following the best practices for safety, both on the road and while loading or unloading a truck.
• Communicating with dispatchers, drivers and other team members to make deliveries.
• Meeting delivery deadlines, loading and unloading cargo.
• Tracking shipments and deliveries.
• Obtaining client or customer signatures when needed.
• Meets or exceeds all service target.
• Attends all staff meetings, training, and educational classes as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

The Delivery Driver is responsible for transporting packages and other goods from our facilities to business addresses in our region. Their duties include loading goods, using navigation tools to arrive at the right address and delivering parcels to the correct address. He or she provides exceptional service to our customers by delivering products with a friendly, helpful attitude.

The ideal candidate has a pleasant and courteous personality, is fluent in English, and can provide excellent service at all times.

COMPENSATION

• $16 - $17 / hour
• 30 to 35 hours per week

DELIVERY DRIVER RESPONSIBILITIES
