Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company is seeking a Store Delivery Driver for Store #1130 at 50 Ryan Drive, Raynham, MA. You will deliver products to customers, load and unload items, and ensure accuracy of orders while maintaining a safe driving record.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or GED, 1 year of delivery/retail experience, and ability to read and communicate in English and Spanish. The role requires a valid driver’s license and willingness to work evenings/weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship for employment now or in the future.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
• Must lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally.
• Willing to work evenings and weekends as scheduled.
• If internal to Sherwin-Williams, must have at least a 'meets expectations' rating.
• Must have completed HR Cloud eLearning courses required for current position.

Responsibilities

• Ensure deliveries meet customer requirements in the most efficient manner.

• Maintain the store vehicle and report any repair needs.

• Prepare reports and other documents relating to deliveries.
• Operate vehicles and equipment such as cars, trucks, forklifts, etc.
• Perform warehouse duties, tinting, and mixing customer orders.

The individual selected for this role will be expected to work at Store #1130, located at: 50 Ryan Drive, Raynham MA 02767.

SWDS Drivers are responsible for delivering products to customers from Sherwin-Williams stores using Company vans or pickup trucks. Drivers ensure deliveries are complete, packed correctly, and safely delivered to the correct customer. Drivers are accountable for customer satisfaction and for transporting items in a safe, timely manner.

Job duties involve contact with customers, which may include minors; and access to cash and other payment methods, electronic equipment, personal information, store merchandise and other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. The Company therefore has determined that a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business and its operations and reputation and is necessary to protect the safety of the Company's customers, staff, employees, vendors, contractors, and the general public.

• Operate equipment and machines, such as cars, trucks, forklifts, etc.
• Perform other tasks in the store, including warehouse duties, tinting, and mixing customer orders and waiting on customers

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License
• Must be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion.
• Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation
• If internal to Sherwin-Williams, you must have received at least a "meets expectations" (3) rating on your most recent performance appraisal
• If internal to Sherwin-Williams, you must have completed all HR Cloud eLearning courses required for your current position

Preferred Qualifications:

• Have at least a High School diploma or GED
• Have at least one (1) year of experience working in a delivery, retail, or customer service position
• Have at least one (1) year of work experience using material handling equipment (for example: forklifts (stand and sit), pallet jacks, hand trucks, order pickers, vacu-hoists, drum dollies, conveyor belts, etc.)
• Have previous work experience selling paint and paint-related products
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one language
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish
