Job summary

Aaron Sales And Leasing in Pulaski, VA is hiring a Delivery Driver to join our store team. The role involves driving, installing, moving, and demonstrating merchandise to customers, both inside and outside the store.

The driver will support day-to-day operations, interact with customers, and help ensure positive experiences as part of a fast-paced, store-based environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old in US locations; 18+ in Canada.
• Valid state driver’s license and clean MVR per policy.
• DOT certification may be required at location.
• Willingness to work a shift from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. alone and up to 300 lbs. with assistance.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Stage, load, and secure products; safely operate the company vehicle.
• Unload, install, and demonstrate merchandise.
• Assist with cleaning and organizing merchandise in-store.
• Maintain daily route sheets and weekly maintenance logs.

Delivery Driver

The pay range for this role is $15.25 to $16.00 per hour.*

Aaron's Delivery Drivers are an integral part of ensuring positive customer experiences. This fast-paced, store-based role includes driving, installing, moving, and picking up merchandise, as well as demonstrating how customers can use their products. You'll spend time inside and outside the store, support the team with day-to-day operations, and connect with customers in the community.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Required Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age for positions within the United States and at least 18 years of age in Canada.
• Requires a valid state driver's license and compliance with the Company's Driver Qualification Policy, including a satisfactory motor vehicle record (MVR).
• Must be able to obtain DOT certification, if required for the position's location.
• Ability to work a schedule with hours varying from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. independently and up to 300 lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another associate.
• Ability to work in all outdoor weather conditions, including rain and summer heat.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience moving household furnishings and appliances.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to maintain a professional appearance.
